Creatively known as Truth,  this multi-hyphenate talent  hails from Dallas, Texas. Her vocal styling has been influenced by some of the greats such as Brandy Norwood and her writing aesthetic by those such as Stevie Wonder, JP Morton, and Jhene Aiko to name a few. As a vocalist, she’s had the pleasure to work with some of the best in the business such as Grammy Award Winner India Arie on “This Love”, Grammy Nominated Alternative Rock Band, Rival Sons for "Shooting Stars", and UK phenom KALEO on “Brother Run Fast”. Her first major writing and vocal credit came in 2015 with Reflection Music Group artist, Derek Minor, on his title track, ”Empire". The song was later synced for television placement on TV One's Black Ink Crew New York, T.I. & Tiny’s a Family & Friends Hustle, and HBO's hit series, The Chi.   

In 2019, Truth joined the Nashville Urban Choir for the highly anticipated 53rd Country Music Awards, performing with Chris Stapleton, Mavis Staples, and Maren Morris. Early 2020, she was brought in to record backing vocals for Christian Contemporary Artist, Christ Tomlin on his eleventh album, “Chris & Friends”. The song list is comprised of the #2 iTunes Chart Hit, "Thank You Lord." 

Soon after, she rendered her vocals on Chris Stapleton’s Grammy Winning Album of the Year, Starting Over for, "Watch You Burn”.  Fall of 2021 she hit the stage again as the ACM Awards returned to Las Vegas, lighting the arena with Chris Stapleton and the Nashville Urban Choir performing what Rolling Stones called a “furious delivery” of, "Watch You Burn”. From 2021 to 2022, she had the pleasure of working with world renown film producer, Baz Luhrmann, recording vocals for the Warner Brother’s box office hit, “Elvis”. A significant part of her most rewarding experience came in 2023 while touring as a background vocalist and dancer for Grammy-nominated R&B singer, Tamia.

Truth thrives on the freedom of expression and thought. Her mission is to diversify the narrative by providing an opportunity for underrepresented intellectuals to share their truths and in turn dismantle stereotypes about women of color in music. Truth was excited to showcase her writing and production abilities with the 2024 release of her debut EP, lateBLOOMER. Her most fulfilling musical achievement in 2025 was perform during NAACP Image Award Nominee, Truth's Table, first live podcast recording. 

As a creative her greatest hope is that people hear her music or the projects she’s been part and see an interwoven message of love, hope, and inclusion.
